Exciting! Sorry i’m a bit late on this but I’ve been ecstatic!

David is going to be honored at the 2009 Alma Awards, and will be PERFORMING! Congrats David! The Awards show will air on ABC on September 18, 2009. The show films the day before, September 17 and David will be attendance and performing!

The show will be hosted by George Lopez and Eva Longoria-Parker!

Congratulations, David! We’re so proud of you!!

I’ve decided I will be ending the contest on September 21, 2009! So make sure you send in your fanmade Chrismas album covers for “Christmas From The Heart”! Here is a few things…

Rules:

1. Please only USA residents for right now!
2. The cd cover can be any size, but don’t make it too huge, try and make it like a normal cd cover size.
3. Make sure it says “Christmas From The Heart” on it somewhere, and David Archuleta
4. Please enter only one time, you can send up to 3 fanmade covers at once, if you want too.
5. If you make 3 fanmade covers, and you win I will only pick 1 of the covers, and you will only get 1 copy of the album.
6. If you win, I will let you know by email and will then ask for your address to send it too.
7. Please, if you can send me your name and the state, your address is not needed yet unless you win.
8.  If you win, and aren’t from the USA I will unfortunately have to pick a new winner I can’t afford the shipping for outside USA, that includes Canada. USA only please!!!

I am going to try and see David VIP for the shows, but I may not be able to do that for these upcoming rescheduled shows I will let you know, and I am trying! It’d be great to meet David again and see if he’s been to the site! Remember when I met him last year at the solo tour?! Yeah I forgot to even tell him about the site! haha. My bad!

DEMI LOVATO AND DAVID ARCHULETA RESCHEDULE THREE EAST COAST SHOWS

Burbank, CA — August 19, 2009 –Citing scheduling conflicts, Demi Lovato and David Archuleta announced three rescheduled shows today. The original and rescheduled dates are below. Tickets for the original show will be honored at the rescheduled shows. Refunds will be available at point of purchase until September 30. Performance times will remain the same for the Manchester and Providence shows at 7pm. The Atlantic City show will now start at 4pm. Demi Lovato’s tour is produced by AEG Live, and sponsored by AT&T and Comfort Inn. Original Dates: August 22 Atlantic City, NJ Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort August 23 Providence, RI Dunkin’ Donuts Center August 24 Manchester, NH Verizon Wireless Rescheduled Dates: October 29 Manchester, NH Verizon Wireless October 30 Providence, RI Dunkin’ Donuts Center November 1 Atlantic City, NJ Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort (4pm)

They are not solo shows, but the Demi/David tour dates have been rescheduled!

Fans who want to go to the October concerts can keep their tickets, which will be honored at the rescheduled shows. Otherwise refunds can be obtained from point of purchase.

OCTOBER 30 - Providence, RI Dunkin’ Donuts Center
NOVEMBER 1 - Atlantic City, NJ Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort (4pm)

Today there was a announcement made by Demi’s management that the final 3 shows of the tour have been cancelled due to “Scheduling Conflicts”. They didn’t give any other details, but if you were planning on going to one of the following shows, they have been cancelled:

Aug 22: Atlantic City
Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort

Aug 23: Providence, Rhode Island
Dunkin Donuts Center

Aug 24: Manchester, New Hampshire
Verizon Wireless

I’ve been hearing that David’s management will be re-scheduling the shows, and they will be solo shows I will let you guys know as soon as we get the confirmed re-scheduled shows! Sorry to all of those who got tickets, but I’m sure David will reschedule! It’s ashame the tour was cut so short…

Now that we have news that “Christmas From The Heart” will be hitting stores and iTunes on October 13, 2009 we have a LOT to look forward too Now, what do you all think the ALBUM COVER is going to look like?? None of us Archies have gotton word that David has done the photoshoot so we don’t know yet! I’ve decided that we should have a cool little contest - design a FAN MADE David Christmas album cover! The cover will be FAN MADE and will NOT be sold or used for David’s actual cover, it’s just for fun! Remember: This is a Christmas album, so lets make them Holiday looking!

Once the actual album cover is released I will be holding a fun little contest to design banners for us to use on David-Archuleta.org to PROMOTE the album!

The WINNER of the Fan-made Album Contest will win a copy (CD or Digital from iTunes) of “Christmas From The Heart” once it comes out! Due to it being expensive… US Residents Only! Remember if you are under 18 - please ask your parent or guardian for PERMISSION to enter!

This is really exciting that the new Christmas album is all coming together - and we should have it in about 2 months! Be sure to pre-order your copy and then go to the stores and get it later that day!!

I was going to wait to post about this, But it is all over the web anyways, so..
We did it Archies! David won ALL 3 categories at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday! He won Breakthrough Artist, Choice Love Song for “Crush”, & Tour with Demi Lovato. Congrats David!!! Hope we made your day reallly good!

The show was filmed yesterday, but the show airs TONIGHT @ 8/7c. on FOX! Be sure to tune in, David had a show so he could not attend, but let’s see what Teen Choice has up there sleeve!
